How you’ll make an impact:
Supervise employees including Technical Training Technicians, trainers, and employees to deliver the following, but not limited to: ensuring staff is appropriately trained to perform assigned work as per EHS requirement; responsible for all regular post-training metrics and responses required to monitor and/or improve training performance, provide regular progress reports and training metrics to management and cross-functional stakeholders
Collect input and constructive feedback from production for possible integration into new hire or cross training programs, lead Technical resources in post training activities such as assessments of newly trained personnel, defect investigation and product teardowns related to operator workmanship
Develop, plan, and schedule Screening, Work Trial, and training activities (e.g., training room set-up) in response to Master Product Schedule (MPS) and New Product Introduction (NPI) business needs; present summary of plan to management
Provide feedback and/or conduct performance reviews of Trainers and Trainees, including resolving performance issues
Lead sections of improvement projects, partner with engineering on investigations and/or corrective actions, perform non-conformance investigations for review with engineering, assure documentation content is valid
Participate in New Product Transfer and collaborate with various stakeholders on product qualification (PQ)
Prepare training records to ensure audit compliance
Other incidental duties
What you’ll need:
Bachelor's Degree in related field (e.g., industrial, chemical, electrical, mechanical, business administration). Required
3 years of experience leading teams or personnel supervisory in Technical Training areas, working with cross-functional teams, substantial technical knowledge, and experience in related manufacturing, technical Training, quality and/or product development engineering. Required
Experience working in manufacturing process, medical device industry or related industries (electronics, pharmaceutical, food industry or related). Preferred
Intermediate English level. Required
Availability to work in Shift A (Monday to Friday 06.00 a.m. to 03.30 p.m) Required
What else we look for (preferred):
Solid working knowledge of training related methodologies and effectiveness measures
Experience working in multi-cultural teams with cultural sensitivity
Project management experience
Proven expertise in Microsoft Office Suite with working knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, preferably JDE
Excellent communication and interpersonal relationship skills; possessing strong collaboration skills in partnering with cross functional stakeholders in order to achieve objectives, as well as mediating differences to achieve consensus
Full understanding of training and manufacturing procedures related to all stages of own area of responsibility
Ability to analyze and adjust line/operation layouts to improve efficiency
Full understanding of all aspects of processes and equipment used in assigned work
Ability to work and excel within a fast paced, dynamic, and constantly changing work environment
Knowledge of and adherence to Edwards Environmental Health and Safety and Quality guidelines as they relate to department clean room medical device manufacturing
Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
