  • Serve as a trusted partner to the Plant Manager, with strategic alignment to the U.S. Health & Safety organization.

  • Coach, mentor, and engage hourly and salaried team members to build ownership and accountability for safety.

  • Analyze EHS data and translate insights into action using WCM Safety, Environmental, and Health Pillar Boards.

  • Develop, maintain, and audit ISO‑based EHS management systems.

  • Drive risk identification and reduction, including leading risk assessments and corrective action plans.

  • Promote and deliver behavior‑based safety initiatives that support a proactive, employee‑driven safety culture.

  • Lead joint health & safety committee meetings and collaborate with government agencies as required.

  • Ensure effective EHS training for all Saint‑Gobain Safety Standards.

  • Support capital projects and new equipment commissioning to ensure safety is designed into every process.

  • Partner with HR and the U.S. EHS Manager on workers’ compensation and return‑to‑work programs.

  • Participate in U.S. EHS national teams and share best practices across the organization.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Relations, or a related field (or a technical degree combined with significant relevant experience)

  • 3–5 years of experience leading Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) programs within a manufacturing or industrial environment

  • Strong working knowledge of federal and state EHS regulations

  • Proven ability to influence others and drive outcomes without direct authority, leading through engagement and collaboration

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

  • Comfortable working with EHS systems, data analysis tools, and Microsoft Office

  • Self-starter with a hands-on, collaborative leadership style
