Description
We are looking for an experienced SAP Project Manager to join our team in Georgia. This role involves leading large-scale IT projects, ensuring seamless collaboration among stakeholders, and delivering results aligned with business objectives. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in project management methodologies, resource planning, and risk mitigation to oversee critical initiatives within the manufacturing industry.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the management of complex IT projects, ensuring they align with organizational goals and strategies.
• Coordinate with external stakeholders and vendors to establish clear expectations for deliverables and timelines.
• Develop comprehensive strategies for resource allocation, budget controls, and risk management to optimize project execution.
• Implement and refine project management methodologies to enhance efficiency and ensure successful outcomes.
• Monitor and track project performance, addressing deviations and initiating corrective actions as needed.
• Provide leadership to cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring alignment with project objectives.
• Analyze project data to identify risks and recommend actionable improvements for delivery optimization.
• Mentor and support entry level staff, encouraging growth and high performance within the team.
• Report on project progress to management, offering insights and solutions to overcome challenges.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, standards, and best practices throughout project execution.
Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT project management, preferably within the manufacturing sector.
• Certification such as PMP (Project Management) is required.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
• Proficiency in tools like Microsoft Project for scheduling and planning.
• Demonstrated expertise in risk management, change management, and resource planning.
• Experience with client-side scripting, API development, and Salesforce configuration.
