Job Summary:
TheFood SafetyQuality Assurance Technician(FSQA)withconducts activities concerned with the quality assurance of the production processes, materials, and products by performing the following duties.
Essential Functions:
- Conducts standardized tests on products and materials to ensure compliance with internal standards, customerspecificationsand international,federaland state regulations.

``` - Documentsdata obtained during all quality assurance activities, consistent with HACCP standards and company policies and procedures.

``` - Records test data such as weights, temperatures, moisture content,qualitiesand quantities inspected or graded.

``` - Applies proper acceptance/rejection criteria and marks items with details such as grade and acceptance or rejection status.

``` - Audits production facility and reviews employee behavior for proper sanitation.

``` - Communicates significant issues or developmentsidentifiedduring quality assurance activities and provides recommended process improvements to Production/QA Management.

``` - Prepares reports to communicate involvement and results of quality assurance activities to production.

``` - Identifieswork related problems and recommends effective solutions as appropriate

``` - Maintains a working knowledge of company, government and industry quality assurance codes and standards. - Acquiresknowledge of Tridents Environmental and Safety Policies by completing required training programs and performing designated work activitiesin accordance withtraining and procedures/work instructions. - Notifiesdesignated personnel of any environmental or safety incidents or risks not previously documented,in accordance withEnvironmental Awareness and/or safety trainings.

Minimum Requirements
MinimumQualifications:
- A minimum of6 monthsexperience in food processing.

``` - HS Diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2years of experience in food processing.

``` - 1 year of experience in Quality Assurance in a food processing facility.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
The employee is frequently required to climb or balance.
The employee is occasionally required to sit; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.
