Essential Functions:
- Moves levers and presses pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus.

``` - Positions forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials and transports load to designated area.

``` - Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device.

``` - Inventories materials on work floor, and supply workers with materials as needed.

``` - Weighs materials or products and records weight on tags, labels, or production schedules.

``` - Loads or unloads materials onto or off of pallets, skids, or lifting device.

``` - Lubricates truck, recharges/changes batteries, fills fuel tank, or replaces liquefied gas tank.

``` - May be assigned work inSubzerofreezerarea with proper company PPE provided.

``` - Follows plant food safety policies and industry best practices.
Additional Responsibilities:
Performs other similar or related duties as requested or assigned.

Minimum Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

``` - Must be forklift certified, or able to become forklift certified. Must be able to qualify for lift truck certification within 2 weeks of assignment into job function.

``` - Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
The employee is frequently required to climb or balance.
The employee is occasionally required to sit; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.
