Actalent Distribution Field Technician in Carrollton, Georgia
Job Title: Distribution Field TechnicianJob Description
Join our team as a Distribution Field Technician where you will collaborate with a fellow technician to capture and send images of utility poles to our design team. The designer will coordinate with clients to ensure accurate data collection through the images.
Responsibilities
Work alongside another Distribution Field Technician to capture images of utility poles.
Communicate effectively with the design team to ensure all images meet data requirements.
Travel throughout Georgia and surrounding regions to complete fieldwork.
Collect data and ensure it is accurately documented.
Assist in storm work as needed.
Essential Skills
Experience in distribution field technician work.
Proficiency in using software to capture images in the field.
Strong communication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in data collection is a plus.
Knowledge of Joint Use and staking.
Familiarity with power poles.
Willingness to travel throughout Georgia.
Work Environment
The position requires working 8 days on followed by 6 days off. You will travel to various sites, primarily along the Georgia and Alabama border, and also work on projects in Alabama, Mississippi, and the Florida Panhandle. Expect to travel every week, staying overnight for 3 to 4 nights depending on project needs. The standard workweek consists of four 10-hour days. Employees will receive per diem for food and lodging at the Georgia rate and mileage reimbursement when traveling to sites.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carrollton, GA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.
