An Assembler is responsible for a variety of duties related to assembling, piecing together, fitting, fastening and installing different parts of manufactured products, performing minor repairs as necessary and other manual labor required in assembling a product.
Responsibilities
Assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining electrical or electronic wiring, conduit, cable, equipment, components and devices associated with electrical equipment, following blueprints of electrical layouts and building plans.
Reading and comprehend shop drawings.
Ensuring work is completed as per schedule and quality goals are achieved.
Understanding and following Company procedures for ordering, storing, receiving, and returning materials and tools.
Qualifications
Qualifications / Skills Sets / Expectations:
At least one (1) year of experience in a job shop environment and minimum of one (1) years of electrical experience is required.
Reliable Transportation
Must successfully pass a background check and drug test
Must have a valid driver's license, good driving record.
Must be committed to excellence and generate a high quality of work.
Must consistently report to work on time, work well with other employees to accomplish a common goal, and maintain a safe work environment.
Must wear an M.C. Dean, Inc. hard hat and safety glasses at all times while on the job site.
Must wear OSHA approved boot length pants and a shirt that covers the shoulders by seven (7) inches. These are not provided by the Company.

Exposure to computer screens for an extended period of time.

Have finger dexterity in order to manipulate objects with fingers rather than whole hands or arms, for example, using a keyboard.
