ManpowerGroup Facilities Maintenance Technician (Light Maintenance) in Carol Stream, Illinois
Our client, a leader in industrial and manufacturing services, is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician (Light Maintenance) to join their team. As a Facilities Maintenance Technician (Light Maintenance), you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the operational efficiency and safety of the facility. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician (Light Maintenance)
Location: Carol Stream, IL
Pay Range: $23.00-$25.00
Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm
What's the Job?
Perform general facility maintenance, including painting walls, floors, and equipment guards
Retape and refresh floor markings and safety lines to ensure a safe environment
Handle minor carpentry, drywall patching, and repairs of doors and fixtures
Assist with janitorial and upkeep tasks such as cleaning common areas, restrooms, and workspaces
Support light mechanical tasks like replacing belts, guards, or simple components and troubleshooting facility equipment
What's Needed?
Previous experience in facilities maintenance, janitorial services, or general labor preferred
Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools and basic power tools
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean, safe environment
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
