Putnam Family & Community Services Receptionist, OP Behavioral Health in Carmel, New York

CoveCare Center has an FT/PT Receptionist position. Responsibilities:

Maintaining 99% accuracy while working in the electronic health record. Checking in clients for appointments as well as scheduling future appointments. Collecting copayments and navigating financials for every visit. Maintaining a service level of 95% or higher in the telephone system. Adhering to correct scheduling workflows. Monitoring the waiting room and keeping clients informed of wait times. Supporting Intake duties: when the client arrives at CoveCare for the designated open access hours, collects all appropriate data including personal history information, health screening, appropriate consents for release of information, consents for the treatment of a minor, client rights, financial information, behavioral health screening tools. Setting up telehealth clients in the appropriate rooms. Clear communication with agency staff, including team lead, office manager and clinical staff.

Qualifications: High School Diploma and at least one year of clerical experience. Good communication skills are necessary. Proficiency in computer use including Word, Excel, Microsoft Office, Internet, Databases, and Electronic Medical Record Systems. Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships among team members and external stakeholders. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Preference is given to candidates who are bilingual in Spanish.

* This is a full-time in person position with a Monday - Friday flexible schedule. Hours may change based on business needs and operations.
