Aerotek Soldering Technician in Carlstadt, New Jersey

Job Title: Soldering Technician

Job Summary

The Soldering Technician is responsible for performing precision soldering and assembly of electronic components and sub‑assemblies in accordance with engineering drawings, work instructions, and quality standards. This role requires strong manual dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast‑paced manufacturing or repair environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform hand soldering of electronic components,

  • Assemble, rework, and repair electronic assemblies according to written and verbal instructions

  • Use hand tools, microscopes, and soldering equipment to complete assigned tasks

  • Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and assembly documentation

  • Perform basic electrical testing and troubleshooting as required

  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation and follow all safety and ESD procedures

  • Accurately document work completed and communicate issues to supervisors or engineering

  • Work collaboratively with production, quality, and engineering teams to meet production goals

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • 1+ year of hands‑on soldering experience

  • Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail

  • Ability to follow detailed work instructions and quality standards

  • Comfortable using hand tools and basic electronic test equipment

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Carlstadt, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $39520.00 - $41600.00/yr.
