Shipping & Packing Specialist (Print Production & Fulfillment Operations)
Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Shipping & Packing Specialist to join our printing and fabrication operations team. This role is responsible for preparing finished print and fabricated products for shipment, generating shipping labels, and ensuring all outbound orders are accurately processed through internal systems and carrier platforms such as FedEx and UPS.
The ideal candidate has experience in shipping, packing, and fulfillment operations within a fast-paced production or manufacturing environment, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
Generate and process shipping labels using FedEx, UPS, and internal shipping systems
Verify shipment details against packing slips, invoices, and order documentation
Prepare finished print products and fabricated items for safe and secure shipment
Properly pack orders using appropriate protective materials to prevent shipping damage
Create and manage required shipping documentation, including packing slips, bills of lading, and international customs forms
Enter accurate shipment data including weights, dimensions, service levels, and tracking information
Print, organize, and apply shipping labels to packages, cartons, and pallets
Coordinate with internal production teams to confirm order readiness and shipment scheduling
Maintain accurate shipping records within ERP or internal tracking systems
Communicate with internal departments to resolve shipment discrepancies or missing information
Support continuous improvement of fulfillment and shipping workflows
Qualifications
Experience creating shipping labels using FedEx, UPS, or similar carrier systems (required)
2+ years of experience in shipping, packing, fulfillment, or warehouse operations (preferably in production/manufacturing)
Experience with domestic and international shipping documentation
Familiarity with ERP systems or shipping/warehouse management software (preferred)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to read and interpret packing slips, invoices, and shipping documents
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and handle packing materials as needed
Bilingual ability is a plus
