Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic
Job Description
Join our team as a Maintenance Mechanic, responsible for maintaining equipment within a distribution center. You will perform preventive maintenance (PMs) and reactive maintenance on both mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring the smooth operation of machinery.
Responsibilities
Perform preventive and reactive maintenance on equipment and machinery.
Conduct mechanical and electrical repairs on conveyors, motors, belts, rollers, drives, chains, pulleys, hydraulics, pneumatic systems, and PLCs.
Troubleshoot PLCs using RS Logix 5000, focusing on inputs and outputs.
Diagnose and repair issues with wire contactors and motor starters.
Use blueprints and CMMS systems effectively.
Collaborate with the control tech on-site for complex PLC issues.
Essential Skills
High School Diploma or GED.
3+ years of experience in maintenance within a manufacturing, industrial, or distribution center setting.
Proficiency in electrical repair and troubleshooting.
Knowledge of PLCs and ability to check inputs and outputs.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Familiarity with CMMS and work order management systems.
Mechanical repair skills.
Computer proficiency, especially with RS Logix.
Attention to detail and team-oriented attitude.
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Carlisle, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $76960.00/yr.
