*MINIMUM/PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS: *

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Effective listening abilities and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to multitask and remain focused in a high-traffic environment.
  • Must demonstrate honesty, integrity, and professionalism at all times.
  • Flexible availability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing in English to effectively interact with guests and team members.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written, oral, or diagram instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Employee must be able to obtain and maintain all required licenses and permits as mandated by federal, state, and local regulations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

  • Sweep and remove all wrappers, broken glass, ashtrays, and debris from the casino floor and surrounding areas.
  • Clean and dust slot machines, including all visible surfaces, areas between machines, and surrounding woodwork.
  • Clean up biohazard areas following established safety and sanitation protocols.
  • Vacuum assigned stations thoroughly, moving chairs and objects to ensure full coverage.
  • Remove trash, replace missing ashtrays, and sanitize all ashtrays and trash receptacles.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area throughout each shift.
  • Provide friendly, efficient service when assisting guests or responding to cleaning needs.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned and within the scope of the position.

WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSCIAL DEMANDS:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands to handle cleaning tools and materials.
  • The employee frequently reaches with hands and arms and must be able to bend, stoop, lift, and move objects.
  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to push, pull, reach, twist, kneel, and balance when performing cleaning duties.
  • Must be able to work in confined spaces and around moving equipment.
  • Work is performed primarily on the casino floor, which may include exposure to tobacco smoke, loud noise, and bright or flashing lights.
  • The pace is fast and requires consistent mobility throughout the shift.
