*SUMMARY: *The Bartender will drive retail sales and extend hospitality through prompt, courteous service that will be provided to each of our guests. Providing World Class Service to each and every guest is what sets us apart from all of our competition. The bartender is responsible for providing an overall exceptional guest experience to help maintain and attract new guests. They are responsible for knowing and suggestively selling the menu to guests, a full understanding of operational standards, policies and procedures. It is important that the Bartender can effectively demonstrate these standards, policies and procedures. The Bartender must provide instant guest recognition and satisfaction, maintain excellent service standards, serve top-quality food and follow all Health Department guidelines and codes.

*MINIMUM/PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS: *

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 to 3 years of bartending experience preferred in a fast paced, high-volume tavern
  • Must demonstrate honesty and integrity inside and outside the workplace
  • Must be able to lift 45 lbs
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Must strive for 100% customer satisfaction
  • Must be able to attain a Non-Gaming Card
  • Valid Alcohol Awareness Card
  • Valid Health Card
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in in English may also be required.
  • Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

  • Providing exceptional guest service
  • Responsible for overall Guest satisfaction.
  • Focusing on overall Guest Experience and ensures every guest receives a personalized experience that caters to their needs
  • Ensuring all food and beverage is prepared to standard before served to guests
  • Responsible to meet all Health Department and Alcohol regulations and maintain standards
  • Follow all department polices on pouring and serving alcohol
  • Assist team members if needed
  • Any and all other responsibilities given within the scope of the job description

WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSCIAL DEMANDS:

  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
  • The role involves handling sensitive and confidential information, requiring a high level of integrity and discretion.
  • Standing for long periods of time
  • Ability to list up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and work on a computer.
  • Ability to bend, twist and climb ladder and work at heights of above eight (8) feet.
  • The ability to stand, stoop, lift, wipe, reach and type without assistance from others.
