Retail Marketing Manager (Customer Marketing Manager)

As the Retail Marketing Manager , you will be the critical link between Marketing and Sales. You will ensure our brands don’t just sit on the shelf—they dominate the market through flawless execution and a deep understanding of shopper behavior and retail dynamics.

Main Responsibilities:

  • 7P & Channel Strategy: Define and implement category/brand strategies by channel, integrating consumer and trade insights to align on annual activity plans.

  • Financial Stewardship: Oversee investment plans per channel, ensuring growth targets are met while maintaining defined Gross to Net (GTN) and maximizing Return on Investment (ROI).

  • Category Leadership: Lead Category Management initiatives to expand and implement Colgate-Palmolive’s dominance on the shelf, approving SKU mix and commercial margins.

  • Point of Sale Excellence: Drive the "Command the Shelf" priority, establishing procedures to review displays, shelf space, and inventory levels to solve any POS issues weekly.

  • Commercial Planning: Partner with the Demand Chain to develop commercial strategies that ensure Volume, SOM, Weighted Distribution, and GTN targets are achieved.

  • Market Intelligence: Conduct monthly evaluations of promotional activities (CP vs. Competitors) to propose competitive alternatives and ensure market-leading Go-to-Market plans.

  • Monthly Discipline & Diagnostics: Lead the monthly business review process to diagnose performance across buying environments and identify growth opportunities.

  • People Development: Manage and develop the team, overseeing career plans and aligning individual objectives with company-wide strategic goals.

Basic Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

  • Experience: 6+ years of proven experience in Retail Marketing, Trade Marketing, Sales, or Market Research Agencies

  • Language Skills: Advanced English
