Role Summary
As the Retail Marketing Manager, you will be the critical strategic link between the Marketing and Sales departments, reporting to the Commercial Director. You will lead the Retail Marketing team, ensuring our brands dominate the shelf through flawless execution and a deep understanding of shopper behavior and retail dynamics. This role is exciting because you will have the autonomy to shape how our categories win at the Point of Sale (POS) across all buying environments.
Responsibilities
Define and implement integrated 7P and Channel strategies , merging consumer and trade insights to lead the annual activity planning and category growth.
Lead Category Management initiatives to expand Colgate-Palmolive’s dominance on the shelf, including the approval of SKU mix, commercial margins, and "Command the Shelf" execution.
Drive financial stewardship and ROI by overseeing investment plans per channel, ensuring growth targets are met while maintaining optimized Gross to Net (GTN) levels.
Partner with Demand Chain and Sales leadership to develop commercial strategies that guarantee the achievement of Volume, SOM, and Weighted Distribution targets.
Orchestrate the monthly business review process (Diagnostics) to identify performance gaps across buying environments and propose competitive Go-to-Market alternatives.
Manage and develop a high-performing team , overseeing career plans and aligning individual objectives with the company’s strategic LIFT principles.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree completed.
6+ years of proven experience in Retail Marketing, Trade Marketing, Sales, or related
Intermediate English proficiency.
Proven experience in financial management (P&L, GTN, and ROI analysis).
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry.
Strong functional competency in "Analytical Thinking" and "Commercial Strategy".
Deep understanding of "Consumer/Shopper Insight" to drive retail execution.
Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and developing talent.
