Role Summary

As the Retail Marketing Expert , you will sit on the Commercial/Sales team to develop critical tools that drive sales and profitability objectives for our key channels. You will be the pivotal owner of buyer and shopper knowledge, translating market and shopper insights into actionable business decisions. This is an exciting opportunity to influence brand rotation and market presence by bridging the gap between consumer marketing and customer development. Your primary mission is to ensure Colgate-Palmolive products are the first choice for shoppers at the point of purchase.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the strategic implementation of the 7 P’s across assigned Retail Environments to maximize brand visibility and ensure consumer purchase decisions.

  • Drive financial performance by managing key indicators including Gross to Net and margin targets for the assigned retail environment.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Consumer Marketing and Customer Development stakeholders to design and execute integrated plans, incentives, and offers that boost sales volume.

  • Develop and execute promotional strategies and activities, including the generation of requisitions for promotional materials to increase product rotation.

  • Analyze shopper and market insights to build data-driven decision-making frameworks that align with long-term business priorities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree completed.

  • 2+ years of experience in Sales, Marketing, or Trade Marketing.

  • Google Suite proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of experience specifically in a Field Sales position.

  • Demonstrated success working with Modern Trade channels.

  • Previous experience utilizing Nielsen data platforms to drive market analysis.

  • Prior experience within a Multinational Consumer Goods (CPG) organization.

  • Intermediate English level.
