Schedule Analyst
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required in the following: Management, Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Science, Technology, Engineering, or Statistics.
- 3-6 years of applicable experience, with at least 3-4 years in a government or aerospace industry environment.
- Experience in project scheduling and schedule analysis within complex programs.
- Proficiency in scheduling tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent).
- Understanding of scheduling concepts such as critical path method (CPM), baseline tracking, and WBS integration.
- Analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Obtain a DoD security clearance.
Desired Qualifications:
- Familiarity with government budgeting and planning processes such as PPBE.
- Experience supporting NASA, DoD, or other federal agencies.
- Work independently and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
*Responsibilities *
- Develop comprehensive program and project schedules using established scheduling tools and methodologies.
- Construct and evaluate logic networks, Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), and WBS dictionaries to ensure schedule accuracy and completeness.
- Monitor the implementation and progress of schedules to ensure alignment with technical and programmatic objectives.
- Regularly update schedules to reflect current project plans, milestones, and resource allocations.
- Analyze schedule performance relative to baseline objectives, identifying risks, delays, and opportunities for improvement.
- Perform critical path analysis and conduct "what-if" scenario planning to evaluate the impact of changes and recommend workarounds as needed.
- Provide resource-loaded schedule projections and support integrated planning with cost and risk functions.
- Prepare and deliver routine schedule reports, performance metrics, and schedule variance analyses to project leadership.
- Maintain schedule documentation and archives in accordance with program and customer requirements.
