Assembler -- Job Description Location: Canton, Ohio 44706 Industry: Automotive Manufacturing Shift: Day Shift Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour Department: Assembly Pay Status: Hourly- Weekly Reports To: Shift Foreman (may also receive direction from the General Foreman or Plant Manager)
Job Summary
We are seeking dependable Assemblers to join our automotive manufacturing team in Canton, Ohio. The Assembler is responsible for assembling fixtures and automotive components according to designated specifications and work instructions. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to follow procedures, and the maintenance of production quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
No prior experience required --- training provided
Ability to learn quickly and follow written and verbal instructions
Basic math skills and ability to count and record production accurately
Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
Ability to perform repetitive hand movements
Ability to stand for extended periods during the shift
Key Responsibilities
Review the daily production schedule to determine assigned workstation
Perform startup checks and procedures at the assigned station
Follow written job instructions and standard work procedures
Assemble automotive parts and components according to specifications
Count, inspect, and pack parts accurately
Complete production cards and labels correctly
Maintain a clean and organized workstation
Follow all company safety and quality procedures
Perform other duties as assigned by supervision
