Material Handler / Forklift Operator

Summary:
Reliable and safety-focused Material Handler with hands-on experience in forklift operations, inventory control, and yard/warehouse logistics. Proven ability to manage high-volume materials, ensure order accuracy, and maintain an organized and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely load and unload trucks and trailers while ensuring accuracy and proper material handling
Verify all outgoing orders for completeness and correctness prior to shipment
Operate forklifts and other equipment to transport materials within the yard and warehouse
Organize, sort, and restock inventory to maintain efficient workflow and accessibility
Inspect and check in equipment, ensuring proper documentation and condition tracking
Dispose of construction debris in accordance with safety and environmental standards
Track time, materials, and inventory movements using company computer systems
Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant work environment
Skills & Qualifications:
Forklift operation (2+ years experience; certification eligible)
Warehouse and yard operations (2+ years experience)
Inventory management and order verification
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Basic computer proficiency (inventory/logging systems)
Ability to read measurements and use tape measures accurately
Strong communication skills and team collaboration
High commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
Work Environment & Schedule:
Full-time, evening shift (start time between 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM)
Monday–Friday schedule with consistent, year-round hours
