Thompson Health OB/GYN Physician - Geneva or Canandaigua in Canandaigua, New York

Description

Responsibilities:

o Provides clinical obstetrical and gynecological services and associated administrative and on-call services to Thompson Obstetrics and Gynecology patients. o Provides consistent, high quality, evidence-based care.o Supports office staff in development and performance of efficient office practices. o Liaisons with practice management and hospital administration on behalf of the practice. o Liaisons with staff on behalf of practice management and hospital administration.o Fosters a cohesive Thompson Obstetrics and Gynecology group identity.o Complies with all regulatory requirements applicable to Obstetrics and Gynecology.o Provides patient management that aligns Thompson Obstetrics and Gynecology goals with overall health system goals. o Always puts the needs of the patient first. Assists the health system in meeting strategic goals.

Hours:

24-hour call shifts 4-5 times a month, in office 3-4 times a week. This position can be located in Canandaigua OR Geneva.

Education:

o Graduation from an accredited Medical School Required (M.D. or D.O.)o Completion of Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology Required.o Knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 Coding Preferredo Maintains CME per requirements for Board Certificationo Current BLS certificationo NRP Certification Required

Qualifications:

  • BC/BE in OB/GYN

  • Must possess an unrestricted New York State License or be eligible to be licensed in the state of New York

  • DEA Licensure Required

Pay Range: $280-380k based on experience; salary is a 2-year guarantee and then moves to a productivity model.
