Description
Schedule: Evening shift (3 - 11:30pm), weekend and holiday availability required.
Main Function:
- Maintains responsibility for all nursing care administered during assigned shift.
Required Job Specific Competencies:

Ability to work independently and assure all task assignments are carried out
Demonstrates the ability to develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with the care staff, families, physicians and management
Exhibits leadership skills through effective communication, supervision of the care staff and completion of all work on the evening shift
Actively guards the confidentiality of sensitive information including but not limited to the residents, staff and the health system.
Lives the CARES values at all times
Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care to the residents
Qualifications:
The LPN must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patient. The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s status and interpret each patient’s requirements relative to age-specific needs and to the care needed.
Maintain and/or obtain basic First Aid training within 30 days of official start of employment
Education and Experience:
Current New York State license
2 years’ experience in an Enriched living, assisted living adult community or similar housing environment acting as a charge person with medication administration
Pay Range: $26.00 - $32.00/hour
Starting Rate: Based on experience
