Our team: You will join our Supply Chain team, partnering with colleagues across Latin America and the United Kingdom to connect demand planning, manufacturing, and international trade—ensuring the right products are available at the right time and at the right cost.
About the Role:
We are looking for an Inventory Management & Materials Planning professional to drive stock replenishment analyses, with a focus on cost optimization, preventing obsolescence and stockouts, and ensuring efficient inventory management. You will work closely with teams in Latin America and the United Kingdom, producing detailed requirements and forecasting reports and collaborating cross-functionally with demand planning, manufacturing, and international trade. This is a high-impact role for someone who enjoys data-driven decision-making and communicating insights in Portuguese, Spanish, and English.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and maintain inventory control spreadsheets and reports to monitor stock health and replenishment needs.
Manage supply demands and translate requirements into clear replenishment plans.
Prepare replenishment lists for manufacturing and international trade teams, ensuring timely execution.
Partner proactively with product, demand planning, and manufacturing to ensure alignment and smooth decision-making.
Run forecasting and inventory analyses to support KPI reviews and S&OP meetings; project obsolescence and replenishment using historical data, market insights, stock status, and production capacity.
Create, track, and analyze performance indicators (KPIs), identifying improvement opportunities and recommending actions.
Participate in process improvement initiatives and support the implementation of new tools and systems.
Monitor sales performance and translate trends into inventory and replenishment insights.
Prepare data and presentations for monthly business reviews and results reporting.
Required skills and experience:
Strong alignment with Pearson’s culture and values.
Bachelor’s degree completed.
Experience with data analysis and strong analytical/problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of S&OP processes and ability to support KPI and planning routines.
Advanced English and intermediate/advanced Spanish (Both are mandatory).
Advanced Excel, including experience with Power Query.
