Immediate Office of the Chief of Naval Operations LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (EXERCISE PLANS AND LOGISTICS INTEGRATOR) in Camp H.M. Smith Marine Corp Base, Hawaii

Summary You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (EXERCISE PLANS AND LOGISTICS INTEGRATOR) in Headquarters, U.S. Indo-Pacific Command (HQ USINDOPACOM) Logistics and Engineering Directorate (J4) of HEADQUARTERS US INDO-PACIFIC COMMAND. A Cost-of-Living-Allowance (COLA) of 8.64% will be added to the stated salary. Responsibilities You will have familiarization with USINDOPACOM Joint Exercise Program, Theater Campaign Plan, Theater Posture Plan, Theater Distribution Plan and family of OPLANS. You will assist in forecasting reserve component augmentation to Exercise Branch for annual training, directorate integration, and functional staff utilization in support of J4 contingency, operational effectiveness, and fulfill Title X mission sets. You will lead command-wide efforts to develop, update, and integrate the USINDOPACOM Theater Logistics Plan with INDOPACOM J5 to support efforts to develop training and readiness objectives. You will serve as an Exercise Planner and Logistics Integrator, providing expertise in coordination of Operational Plans, Contingency Plans, Programming Objective Memorandums, Integrated Priority List, and other planning initiatives. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications GS13: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Coordinating, executing, and assessing joint logistics and exercise events Utilizing concepts of live, virtual, constructive and simulation environments to conduct training and evaluate readiness Informing, advising, evaluating, and integrating planning initiatives such as Joint Exercise Program, Operational Plans (OPLAN), Contingency Plans (CONPLAN), Base Plans (BPLAN), Theater Posture Plan (TPP), Theater Logistic Plan (TLP), Plan of Action and Milestones (POAM), Integrated Priority Lists (IPL), and Joint Master Scenario Event Lists (JMSEL). Developing and refining policies, instructions, and directives in relation to Theater. GS12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
