Job Description
We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Crater on the 1st shift. The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing or construction environment and possess proficiency with hand and power tools.
Responsibilities
Build crates using hand tools and power tools.
Enter information into the computer for shipping purposes.
Operate a band saw after receiving training.
Work with customers to ensure their needs are met.
Run the shop in the absence of the production manager.
Assist with packaging and kitting as needed.
Be prepared to drive a box truck and assist with runs to other facilities after permanent hire.
Essential Skills
Experience working with hand and power tools.
Previous experience in a manufacturing or construction environment.
Ability to use a computer for shipping purposes.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with packaging and kitting is a plus.
Experience working with customers.
Forklift operation skills.
Experience in assembly and operating machinery.

Work Environment
The position operates on a 1st shift from 6am to 3pm. The role is initially contract-based with the potential for permanent hire, contingent on steady orders. The new facility offers an opportunity to be a key player in the shop, taking on significant responsibilities. Working with wood products is required, and upon permanent hire, training to drive a box truck will be provided.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
