Job Description

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Philadelphia 76ers and Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment (HBSE) are seeking an experienced and motivated Manager to lead our inside sales team. This team member will lead all aspects of the strategy, execution, and leadership of our entry level sales program. As the Manager, Inside Sales it will be your responsibility to lead, train, and develop a team of Sales Associates while also recruiting the future of 76ers Ticketing. The Manager, Inside Sales position provides aspiring executives with the opportunity to join the leadership team of one of the top Ticketing programs in the industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED, TO THE BELOW:

  • Oversee the Philadelphia 76ers’ Inside Sales Department, with a primary focus on driving revenue growth across full season memberships, premium hospitality products, and partial plan offerings.

  • Establish ongoing training and career development platforms for Inside Sales Program

  • Recruit, onboard, and train a best-in-class team of Sales Associates

  • Develop, lead and inspire a positive team culture focusing on cross collaboration

  • Develop effective tracking and reporting tools to provide accountability towards revenue goals

  • Establish department goals through effective business planning and a forward-thinking vision

  • Build positive relationships with clients and prospects via networking, speaking engagements, one-on-one dinners, prospect sampling and seat visits at games, open houses at arena, and offsite meetings

  • Participate in community and industry-related events, conferences, associations that enhance our reputation and potential for success while building new relationships with local, regional and national leaders

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of senior-level sales/service experience preferably with an understanding of the ticketing and premium sales business

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Sales, Sport Management, or a related field preferred.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

  • Experience with Ticketmaster Archtics or similar ticketing platforms preferred.

  • Experience with Salesforce CRM preferred.

  • Experience with sales engagement technology platforms such as Salesloft, Outreach, WolfCycle, Conversica, ZoomInfo, Attend, or similar tools.

  • Highly organized, creative, enthusiastic, and analytical, with excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Travel Requirements: May be required to travel occasionally, including between HBSE’s various offices; trips may require air travel and/or overnight stay.

  • Work Environment: This position generally requires that work primarily be performed from the 76ers’ office in Camden, NJ, and requires attendance at events taking place at the Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia, PA.

  • Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be $80,000 / year. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

The total compensation package for this position will also include other elements, including eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus.

This position will be an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
