Job Title: Warehouse Receiver - Afternoon Shift
Job Description
This role starts as a warehouse material handler with a strong focus on kitting and receiving activities on the afternoon shift. You prepare parts for the production floor by using pick lists and RF scanners, manage incoming shipments, and ensure inventory is accurately received, labeled, and stored using computerized systems and standard warehouse equipment. Once trained would spend 20-40% of day on forklift moving product around facility as well.
Qualifications
Minimum 6 months of experience in a warehouse, inventory, order picking, or material transaction role in a manufacturing, warehouse, or retail environment, with the majority of time spent in the warehouse area.
At least 6 months of forklift experience
Ability to lift and carry 25–40 lbs several times per day in a safe manner.
Experience working with a computerized inventory system or strong comfort using computers in a work setting.
Hands-on experience with warehouse tasks such as picking, packing, and material handling.
Basic understanding of inventory control and material flow in a warehouse environment.
Work Environment
You work on the afternoon shift from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. alongside a team of approximately 10–15 people. The environment is an active warehouse setting involving frequent movement, lifting, and operation of forklifts and RF scanning equipment, supported by computers and inventory software. The workplace follows standard industrial safety practices and provides a structured, team-oriented atmosphere focused on efficient material flow and accurate inventory handling.
