About RSI Lotus Grace:
Located on a serene 20-acre hobby farm in Cambridge, MN, RSI’s Lotus Grace IRTS & RCS setting is designed to support up to five people. The mission at Lotus Grace is to assist in addressing mental health in our community by providing services aimed to meet the immediate support needs of people experiencing mental health crises in a licensed residential setting. Our unique nature-based setting, complete with a variety of farm animals, creates a peaceful environment for healing, growth, and recovery.
What You’ll do as a Mental Health Worker:
As a Mental Health Worker, you will work with the treatment team to implement treatment plans and services for adults experiencing psychiatric instability. You will provide support and services that are rehabilitative and help the recipient to develop and enhance psychiatric stability, social competencies, personal and emotional adjustment, and independent living skills.
Minimum Education Required
A high school diploma or equivalent and meet one of the following qualification requirements:
Associate of Arts Degree or two years of full-time postsecondary education, or a total of 15 semester hours or 23 quarter hours in behavioral sciences or related fields; or
Qualify as a Registered Nurse; or
2,000 hours of work experience providing health and human services to individuals within the previous 10 years, or
Three years of experience as the primary caregiver to adults(s) with mental illness, traumatic brain injury, substance use disorder, or developmental disability within the previous 10 years; or
Three years or personal life experience with mental illness within the previous 10 years.
