Our client is currently seeking a qualified Desktop Support Technician to join their team onsite in Cambridge, MA and provide end-user support. This role will provide high-touch, white-glove technical support in a fast-paced enterprise environment. This role will support system deployments, troubleshooting, and end-user support while ensuring exceptional service delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with ServiceNow, desktop hardware/software troubleshooting, and enterprise IT environments. This role will work a rotating 2-Week Schedule.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Deploy and configure new systems, including setup, imaging, software installation, and data migration
Perform install, move, add, and change (IMAC) activities for desktop hardware and software
Troubleshoot operating system issues across Windows, macOS, and Linux environments
Resolve hardware driver conflicts, user profile corruption, and OS errors
Provide white-glove end-user support for executives and business teams
Utilize ServiceNow to track, document, and resolve support tickets
Support Trellix, LANDesk, multi-factor authentication, and whole-disk encryption troubleshooting
Assist with certificate access requests and temporary badge support for MFA
Install approved software applications and manage configuration requests
Provide remote access support and troubleshooting
Configure and deploy mobile devices (Samsung Android devices)
Contribute to knowledge base management, including reviewing, updating, and drafting support documentation
Support security-related investigations, including malware detection and vulnerability response

Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum 3 to 5+ years of desktop support experience
Strong experience using ServiceNow ticketing system
Experience supporting Windows 11, Microsoft Office 365, and common business applications (Adobe, etc.)
Knowledge of macOS and Ubuntu / Linux environments
Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills
Experience delivering white-glove / executive-level support
Wage Range:
The rate for this position is between $25.50 - $30.00 per hour, unless local minimum wage is higher. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
