Compensation: $79,289.60 annual salary (US Dollars)

Responsibilities

  • Regulatory Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, FDA, and state/local regulations.

  • Maintain and update permits, licenses, and environmental reporting requirements.

  • Safety Program Management:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies and procedures.

  • Conduct risk assessments, hazard analyses, and safety audits.

  • Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis; implement corrective actions.

  • Training & Development:

  • Design and deliver HSE training programs for employees and contractors.

  • Promote safety awareness and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Environmental Stewardship:

  • Oversee waste management, emissions control, and sustainability programs.

  • Monitor environmental impact and drive initiatives to reduce carbon footprint.

  • Emergency Preparedness:

  • Develop and maintain emergency response plans.

  • Coordinate drills and ensure readiness for potential incidents.

  • Reporting & Documentation:

  • Prepare and submit required regulatory reports and internal performance metrics.

  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, incidents, and compliance activities.

Qualifications

  • Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field (master’s preferred).

  • Experience:

  • Minimum 7+ years of HSE experience in a pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing environment.

  • Proven track record of managing compliance programs and leading safety initiatives.

  • Certifications:

  • CSP (Certified Safety Professional), CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist), or equivalent preferred.

  • Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, FDA regulations.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to influence and drive cultural change across diverse teams.
