ASSOCIATE DEAN AND DIRECTOR, Disability and Access Services, will provide leadership for Institute efforts to ensure an accessible, welcoming environment to students with disabilities while ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. Leads a dynamic, interdisciplinary team that integrates disability and accessibility expertise to advance Institute accessibility; sets the standard of professional practice for student access under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Americans with Disabilities Amendments Act (ADAAA), and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act; and serves as the central resource for related information, procedures and services for the Institute community.

Job Requirements
REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree in educational administration, disability services, rehabilitation counseling or related area, and a minimum of seven years of experience providing disabilities services; significant administrative experience; an extensive knowledge of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Americans with Disabilities Amendments Act (ADAAA), and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973; high level of communication, organizational and interpersonal skills; demonstrated ability, resourcefulness and flexibility to work within a busy, dynamic, and de-centralized environment; and ability to work with spreadsheets, databases and generally navigate technology. PREFERRED: Higher education experience; and experience with Simplicity Accommodate; experience with neuropsychological test interpretation; Master's degree.
