Department Description
Exciting opportunity to provide new models of care for walk-in/urgent care access including days, evenings and weekends. The new CHA CBHC Malden and Cambridge program provides behavioral health evaluation, resource referral, and initial treatment services for individuals of all ages.
Macht Building Psychiatry Clinic has an opening for a full time Administrative Coordinator 1 (ACI). We are a multidisciplinary team caring for a diverse patient population. ACIs act as the link between the health care provider, the patient, other departments, outside agencies and consulting providers. Hours 8:00-4:30 or 8:30-5:00 occasionally until 7:00 pm for coverage.
Administrative responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Schedule and register patients
Manage providers schedules to optimize providers schedules (look ahead for open slots and make sure the slots are filled with the help of the follow up report) and moving slots up or down in the schedule to create an hour slot for an evaluations
Manage various providers' patient lists as far as calling and rescheduling appointments.
Assist with the follow up report (tracking no-shows and cancellation/making sure pts have appts scheduled)
Monitor the DAR (CIGNA, Self-pay, Insurances and Medicare intakes, insurances not billable by Residents/Trainees)
Assist with CANS, reports, data entry, notifications etc.
Attend meetings and huddles
Create New Patient Shell when needed
Prepare the Daily Visit report
Add Care Team info to OPD patients chart
Assists with onboarding of new staff
Manage the private referral requests as needed
Assist with section 12
Orders supplies and keep closets stocked and organized
Perform other responsibilities as requested by the practice manager
Other Information
Education/Training: High School, Associates Degree Preferred
Qualifications/Requirements: Work Experience: 1-3 years in an office support/administrative position, preferably in a healthcare setting
Experience with computer applications such as advanced Google Apps
Bi Bilingual strongly preferred. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment as well as strong customer service skills are strongly required.
