Jacobs is seeking a dynamic Licensed Water/ Wastewater Project Manager to join our collaborative team in West Lambton County, Ontario, Canada. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the overall management and leadership of the projects including profit and loss, permit compliance, safety, quality and employee supervision and management including staffing, compensation, training and development. Working with other members of our team and the client you’ll build and maintain positive business and customer relationships, and lead the planning, organization, operations, maintenance and improvement of the facilities. You’ll also be responsible for implementing safety policy and procedures and maintaining the operation process control including compliance with regulatory agencies. • Class 1 Water Distribution Operators License, or ability to obtain within 12 months.

• Class 3 Wastewater Treatment Operators License, or ability to obtain within 12 months.

• Class 1 Wastewater Collection Operators License, or ability to obtain within 12 months.

• Advanced experience in in the operation and maintenance of water and wastewater facilities

• Experience managing projects of similar scope and size. Demonstrated ability to lead (coach and supervise) project teams.

• Demonstrated ability to build and foster strong client relationships.

• Proficient in performing all technical requirements associated with water/wastewater treatment.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, data management systems and able to operate plant VFD’s, PLC’s and SCADA systems.

• Valid driver’s license with no major infractions.

• Proficient in completing MECP water and wastewater reporting

Ideally, You’ll Also Have:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Associates or College degree in Engineering, Environmental Science or Business Administration

• Capable of working independently and maintaining an orderly schedule

• Demonstrated interpersonal relations and personnel management skills.

• Ability to build and foster strong collaborative client relationships. Experience working with clients directly.

• Experience with the operations and maintenance of lift stations. • Strong business acumen, including demonstrated ability to manage budgets.

• Experience in utilizing CMMS Programs for preventive and corrective maintenance.

• Demonstrated ability to engage and motivate teams and to respond to emergency situations.

• Experience in compliance monitoring and reporting

• Extensive knowledge of the OHSA, AWWA Standards, O Reg’s
