Location: Remote (Travel to California several times)Duration: 12 MonthsImportant:• Green Card Holders or US Citizens ONLY.• 12-month contract• Mostly remote• Some travel to California + Expenses• Potential full-time conversion with SIJob Description:• We are seeking a highly experienced SAP PS Functional Architect with strong expertise in integration with PP (Production Planning) and MM (Materials Management) modules.• The ideal candidate will lead end-to-end solution design, architecture, and integration strategy for complex project-based manufacturing environments.• This role requires strong business process knowledge, hands-on configuration experience, and the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.Key Responsibilities:• Lead the design and architecture of SAP PS solutions aligned with business requirements.Drive Integration Between:• SAP PS and PP (Production Planning)• SAP PS and MM (Materials Management)• Cross-module integration with FI/CO where applicable.• Conduct blueprinting workshops and gather business requirements.• Define project structures (WBS, Networks, Activities, Milestones).• Configure cost planning, budgeting, settlement, revenue recognition, and project execution processes.• Ensure proper material procurement and production integration with project structures.• Support Make-to-Order (MTO)/Engineer-to-Order (ETO) scenarios if applicable.• Provide solution documentation including functional specs, configuration documents, and integration design.• Collaborate with technical teams for enhancements, reports, interfaces, and data migration.• Support testing cycles (SIT, UAT), issue resolution, and go-live activities.• Provide post-go-live stabilization and production support.Required Qualifications:• 10+ years of SAP experience with strong hands-on expertise in SAP PS.• Proven experience as a Functional Lead or Architect.• Strong integration experience with SAP PP and SAP MM.• Deep understanding of project-based manufacturing or capital project processes.Experience With:• WBS structures, Networks, Settlement rules• Costing, Budgeting, Revenue Planning• Procurement for projects• Production integration with project stock• Experience in full lifecycle implementations.• Strong client-facing and communication skills.• Ability to travel to California several times during the engagement.
