Aerotek Chemical Operator in Calhoun, Georgia
Chemical Operator – 2nd & 3rd Shift
Calhoun, Rome, & Dalton, GA
- Pay: $30–$35 per hour (experience-based)
Chemical Operators: ideal for operators with experience in batch processing, reactor operation, and safe handling of chemicals in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
What You’ll Do
Operate, monitor, and adjust chemical processing equipment (reactors, mixers, pumps, valves, filtration systems)
Follow batch sheets, SOPs, and safety protocols with precision
Load raw materials, monitor reaction parameters, and document process data
Perform sampling, quality checks, and basic troubleshooting
Work closely with shift leads and maintenance to ensure safe, efficient production
Maintain a clean, compliant work area in accordance with OSHA and plant standards
What You Need
Chemical operator experience required (industrial, batch, or continuous processing)
Ability to read batch sheets, follow procedures, and document production data
Strong understanding of safety practices, PPE, and chemical handling
Comfortable working in a physical, fast‑paced environment
Willingness to work 2nd or 3rd shift

Pay & Benefits
$25–$35 per hour , depending on experience. $30 or more for 5+ years and based on total experience.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
