Job Title: Sr. Business Analyst

Location: Calgary, AB

Our client is seeking a Sr. Business Analyst to join their team. As a Sr. Business Analyst, you will be part of the Business Transformation department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Description:

  • Support the development and documentation of business cases for strategic initiatives, ensuring clarity and readiness for execution.

  • Collaborate with leadership, business units, and AI teams to capture and prioritize use cases for AI and ERP projects.

  • Conduct workshops to map current and future state processes, identifying key controls, data points, and technology intersections.

  • Track and measure value propositions and key performance indicators to ensure alignment with business goals and project success.

  • Create and support project documentation, including decision records and risk assessments, for presentation to executive committees.

Qualifications:

  • Legally authorized to work in Canada.

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.

  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in a related environment.

  • Strong knowledge of and experience with ERP systems, niche applications, and Artificial Intelligence (AI).

  • Exceptional problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships across teams.
