Job Title: Experienced Low Voltage Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Experienced Low Voltage Technician to work on security system upgrades, installations, and troubleshooting. This role involves both new installations and the enhancement of existing systems. You will also lead junior technicians on site and handle client communications.
Responsibilities
Interpret and follow blueprints for security and surveillance systems.
Install and terminate CAT-5 and CAT-6 cables.
Troubleshoot systems and take corrective actions.
Lead junior technicians on site.
Communicate effectively with clients.
Essential Skills
Minimum of 2 years experience in low-voltage system installations, including security and surveillance systems.
Proficiency with CAT-5 and CAT-6 cable installation and termination.
Ability to travel and work out of town as required.
Comfortable following and interpreting blueprints.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Minimum of 3 years clean driving abstract.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with estimating.
Experience with VERKADA Security Systems.

Work Environment
Work throughout Alberta, with possible out-of-town assignments lasting up to a week (Monday to Friday). Accommodations are provided, including kitchenettes upon request. Work alongside 2-3 other technicians, leading them as needed, and interacting with clients on site. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 7am-4pm. For weekend stays out of town, additional daily allowances and accommodations are provided.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
