Job Description
Insight Global is looking for an experienced Mechanical Estimator with a strong understanding of mechanical system design and a numbers‑driven mindset to join a leading modular housing company based in Calgary. This is a full-time position, 5‑day‑per‑week, onsite. The position focuses on mechanical system design, equipment sizing, and cost estimating for building systems across Western Canada.

Skills and Requirements
4+ years of experience in mechanical estimating, combined with a strong background in mechanical system design.
Prior experience working with HVAC systems, including heating and cooling systems, water heaters, incoming water lines, and plumbing fixtures.
Proven ability to size equipment based on high‑level design criteria.
Solid understanding of energy‑efficiency concepts and heat recovery systems, including cost and budget considerations.
Familiarity with provincial mechanical codes (Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba)
Strong Excel experience. - Hands‑on construction experience
- Experience using Bluebeam
