Job Title: General Production Worker
Job Description
The General Production Worker supports the manufacturing of products by assembling, testing, and packaging components and finished goods. This role plays a key part in ensuring that all products meet established quality standards and are completed within production deadlines in a high-tech, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
Assemble products and system components according to work instructions, specifications, and safety guidelines.
Test products and components to verify proper operation and performance before packaging or further processing.
Package finished products securely and accurately, ensuring correct labeling and preparation for shipment or storage.
Perform material handling tasks, including moving, staging, and organizing materials and products throughout the production area.
Use hand and power tools safely and effectively to complete assembly and production tasks.
Conduct basic inspections and defect monitoring to support quality control and ensure products meet quality standards.
Identify and report any product defects, equipment issues, or process deviations to the appropriate personnel.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to support safety, efficiency, and product quality.
Follow all production schedules and work efficiently to meet or exceed daily production targets and deadlines.
Lift and move materials and products weighing up to 50 pounds consistently throughout the shift.
Operate or assist with operating forklifts and other material handling equipment if trained and authorized.
Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Adhere to all safety policies, procedures, and best practices while working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Work Environment
You will work in small teams, typically 7–10 people, which supports a close and collaborative company culture. The environment is fast paced and production-focused, with the use of hand and power tools, material handling equipment, and potentially forklifts. Shifts are 12 hours in length and may include both morning and night schedules, requiring comfort with extended periods on your feet and regular lifting of up to 50 pounds. The facility is designed to support efficient, safe, and high-quality production of heating products.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Calgary, AB.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.
