Job Title: Business Solutions Analyst
Location: Calgary, AB
Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
Our client is seeking a Business Solutions Analyst to join their team. As a Business Solutions Analyst, you will be part of the Business Performance team supporting the Business Solutions department. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proactive problem-solving skills, strong analytical capabilities, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Description:
Develop and implement technical solutions that enable system, data, and process automation within the organization.
Lead meetings with diverse stakeholder groups to facilitate effective communication and drive results.
Assess technology options, gather requirements, and oversee testing and deployment of automation initiatives.
Utilize advanced analytical skills to support data, reporting, and change management activities.
Work independently to manage time effectively and ensure project milestones are met.
Qualifications:
Relevant post-secondary education in petroleum, computer science, business analysis, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in the oil and gas industry or a related field.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer service orientation.
Experience with upstream Land and Well applications such as WellView, SiteView, CS Land, Execute, and StackDX.
Technical proficiency in PowerPlatform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps), Azure application development, Python scripting, and Spotfire.
