Assembly Supervisor
SUMMARY:
The successful candidate will be required to layout and install various major equipment, while meeting various codes and specifications within a fast-paced, detail-oriented shop environment. Shift-4:20-2:30 (4 days/week,10 hours/day). Overtime is as required.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Read and interpret company and customer supplied drawings and specifications to ensure quality work performed
Installation and placement of major equipment
Installation and supporting of spooling
Skid layout for small bore piping
Fitting of socket and screwed small bore pipe
Read, interpret and red-line construction drawings and blueprints (isometrics, P&IDs, G.As)
Pneumatic testing of spools
Be an active participant in the company's safety program
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
Registered apprentice
1-2 years experience working in a fabrication or manufacturing environment
A team player with good organizational skills
Fall Arrest and AWP certificate would be considered an asset
Ability to work independently, efficiently, and safely in a fast-paced shop environment
Good communication skills, both written and oral
Successful completion of a pre-employment functional
Successful completion of a Pre-employment drug and alcohol test
Candidates are required to supply their own standards tools. Specialty tools will be provided by Startec.
