Noble County School Engagement Coordinator/Truancy Officer in Caldwell, Ohio
The Noble County Juvenile Probation is seeking a part time School Engagement Coordinator/Truancy Officer.
16 Hours per week 9AM-3PM
Starting wage: $14 Hr.
[Duties & Responsibilities:]{.underline}
-Develop and implement strategies to prevent students from being charged with truancy once identified by the school district as excessive absence.
-Document and report truancy of students currently on community control/probation.
-Interact with Noble County school staff, parents, and community assets to support juveniles and families.
-Meet with juvenile at school, effectively communicate identified risk and obstacles which are affecting school attendance.
-Assist with the development of achievable goals to support attendance.
-Establish and monitor a diversion plan to prevent truancy charges.
-Maintain and report mileage and fuel expense records.

-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
-Knowledge of community resources and services.
-Passion for supporting juveniles and their families in promoting academic success and well being
-Submit to an FBI/BCI background check.
-Pass preemployment drug screening
-Possess a valid driver's license
-Provide own transportation to schools in Noble County
