A Operator - Trainee ID 2025-4821 Category Manufacturing Type Regular Full-Time Job Description Position: A Operator Trainee Primary Location: Cairo, OH Schedule: M-F to start, rotating 12hr after completion of training Reports to: Operations Supervisor Compensation: $30.00/hr to start, non-exempt Hourly rates are determined by role, level, and location. About This Role and You The A Operator-Trainee at our Cairo, OH Ultra-Pure sulphuric acid production facility will be part of a team that meets the needs for producing highly specialized materials, supporting a rapidly growing semiconductor manufacturing industry, that will be highly dynamic over the next decade. This job is diverse in the mechanical ability to perform general plant operator duties. Work includes tank truck vessel opening, loading/unloading, operation of pumps, piping, valves and general plant upkeep and preventative maintenance. Also, assists the Acid and Shift Utility Operators or other plant personnel as needed. This job requires climbing stairs- ladders and lifting (within OSHA guidelines). This job consists of outside elements where radiant heat or cold is normal work environment. After successfully completing training, qualified Operators will be capable of assuming full responsibility for safely executing all plant operational duties and functions. Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent. Relevant experience in a plant environment performing similar duties is preferred. Must be mechanically inclined Able to work rotating 12 hour shift with occasional overtime Ability to use computer effectively, Microsoft programs, maintenance management system, e-mail, etc. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, manufacturer's literature, diagrams or schematics. Ability to perform strenuous tasks in ambient outdoor conditions Medical Requirement Chemtrade is committed to the safety and health of its employees and the public.
