Nestle Assistant Manager, Channel Development Management in Cairo, Egypt

Position Title: Assistant Manager, Channel Development Management

Position Summary:

Develop the sub- channel strategy, design the AVA plans & programs to drive distribution, optimize TTS spending, and enhance channel growth and profitability.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver our Perfect Store plan identifying relevant growth potentials via customer analysis and implement/develop actionable measures

  • Design Picture of Success for our key customers in regard of shelf, secondary placement and promotion efficiency

  • Lead Customer Management projects with key customers

  • Equip Sales Teams with relevant materials and tools and train/steer them to efficiently execute perfect store related topics. Support development of annual trade negotiations.

  • Close collaboration with multiple functions internally and external stakeholders

  • Developing annual channel plans that delivers on category/brand sales and in-store execution objectives.

  • Transforming category/brand strategy into profitable shopper engagement programs and promotions at channel level.

  • Setting Picture of Success guidelines and implementation across categories/channels.

  • Develop channel portfolio and MSL at sub-channel and regional level.

  • Monitor & ensure proper in-store visibility guidelines by retail environment.

  • Planning of new product launches and setting KPIs and display guidelines for every channel.

  • Participate in Demand forecasting process by providing relevant channel/category data to ensure setting accurate forecast figures in the Integrated Business Planning process.

Requirements:

  • +1 to 3 years’ experience in Sales/Trade Marketing

  • Must have worked as field sales TT & at least 3 years between General Trade, Field Sales Management & Sales operations).

  • Strong knowledge of Nestle portfolio strategy, & TT Specific measures (MSL, Efficiencies, drop size, etc.) , driving direct distribution & in call execution.
