Apprentice Electroplating Technician Penn United Technologies, Inc. is actively hiring full-time Apprentice Electroplating Technicians for our expanding Plating facility. This role requires the flexibility to rotate weekly among daylight, afternoon, and midnight shifts. A 10% shift premium is offered for non-daylight shifts. Responsibilities: Work on the electroplating shop floor in order to learn required job tasks Regularly attend apprenticeship classes held on site Manage the activities of the plating parts, including setup and maintenance of the lines, plating and inspection of the parts, and the preparation of parts for shipping. Strive to keep setup and maintenance time to a minimum Maintain job tracking system Ensure that chemical inventories are adequately maintained at all times and that orders are properly filed Follow all safety and quality plans Study the production schedule and estimate the requirements for completing an order efficiently and effectively Rotate, on a weekly basis, from daylight, afternoon and midnight shifts
Qualifications
Qualifications: Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent Technical, mechanical and math ability Attention to detail and ability to prioritize Able to work as part of a team Able to work daylight, afternoon, and midnight rotating shifts Able to lift 40 lbs., and stand/walk for 8 hours.
