SpartanNash Company Power BI Solutions Architect & Administrator in Byron Center, Michigan
Design and implement end-to-end Power BI solutions that align with business goals by developing data models, dashboards, and reports. Architect datasets and manage and configure Power BI gateways to support hybrid data integration across cloud and on-premises systems. Translate business needs into technical solutions using ETL and report specifications and establish best practices for workspace organization, version control, and report lifecycle management. Collaborate with data engineers, business analysts, and data architects to deliver BI solutions. Apply data governance practices, data security controls, privacy frameworks, and compliance requirements Manage Power BI tenants, workspaces, user access, and licensing while ensuring compliance with governance and security policies. Monitor and optimize performance, troubleshoot data refresh and query issues, and maintain seamless data connectivity. Use Power BI Paginated Reports, Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps), Embedded Analytics, and API integrations. Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business leaders to integrate Power BI with sources like SQL, Azure Data Lake, APIs, and Excel. Use Power Query and DAX, ALM toolkits, and Tabular Editor, for data transformation and performance tuning, Use Power BI Administration, M Query, Service Architecture, and Semantic modeling deployment to implement CICD within an enterprise Power BI deployment. Apply PowerShell scripting to enforce governance frameworks, privacy, and compliance standards. Use Azure services, Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, cloud databases like Snowflake, SQL databases, and data warehousing architecture and concepts. Conduct audits, maintain documentation, and provide user training to promote self-service BI adoption. Stay current with Power BI and Power Platform updates to continuously enhance reporting capabilities and user experience.
Position is a hybrid position with an in-office requirement. Worker must live within a commutable distance of Byron Center, MI, and be able to work in-office as required.
