ProvideUS LLC Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) in Byhalia, Mississippi
Location: Prentiss County or Lee County, Mississippi
Position Overview Provide hands-on care and support to patients in a healthcare or long-term care setting. This role is open to both certified CNAs and individuals willing to complete CNA training and certification. You will assist patients with daily activities while ensuring comfort, safety, and dignity.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist patients with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding)
• Help with mobility, transfers, and positioning
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition
• Take and record vital signs
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment
• Follow all care plans and instructions from nursing staff
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members
Requirements
For Certified CNA Applicants:
• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Mississippi
• Listed in good standing on the Mississippi Nurse Aide Registry
For CNA Trainees:
• Ability and willingness to complete a state-approved CNA training program
• Ability to pass the competency evaluation exam (written and skills)
• Commitment to completing training within required timeframe
General Requirements (All Applicants)
• High School Diploma or GED (or ability to obtain)
• Ability to pass:
o Criminal background check (as required by Mississippi healthcare regulations)
o Drug screening
• Physically able to:
o Lift and assist patients
o Stand and move for extended periods
• Strong reliability, communication, and professionalism
• Ability to follow healthcare safety and infection control standards
