Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and skilled
Building Maintenance Mechanicto support facility operations on
2nd shiftin Byhalia, MS. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing building systems and equipment to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general building maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
- Maintain lighting, doors, floors, walls, and basic carpentry needs
- Respond to maintenance requests and emergency repairs as needed
- Perform routine inspections to identify and resolve issues proactively
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
- Document completed work and report ongoing maintenance needs
Qualifications:
- Previous building or industrial maintenance experience required
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
- Ability to work independently on 2nd shift
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
