Job Title: Maintenance Technician Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with basic industrial mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and pneumatic skills, including troubleshooting. The role involves troubleshooting and performing repairs on machines and their controls, such as extruders, corrugators, extrusion dies, DC/AC motors & drives, downstream equipment, chillers, and more. You will be responsible for contacting suppliers to specify and order replacement parts and control components as needed. As the first responder to machine problems, you will help develop and implement continuous improvement projects to enhance production efficiencies and safety. Additionally, maintaining and building job skills through company training programs is essential, as is collaborating with production staff to ensure the safe and reliable operation of plant equipment.
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and perform repairs on industrial machinery and their controls.
Contact suppliers to specify and order replacement parts and control components.
Serve as the first responder to machine problems.
Develop and implement continuous improvement projects for production efficiency and safety.
Participate in company training programs to maintain and build job skills.
Collaborate with production staff to ensure safe and reliable equipment operation.

Work Environment
Work in a manufacturing plant environment, which can be warm during summer months as it is not regulated, though doors are opened for ventilation. Expect to be on your feet all day in a fairly clean environment where PPE is required. Adhere to the dress code. Working hours are from 3 PM to 11:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with training on days for 4-6 weeks.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Buxton, ND.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $32.00/hr.
