Pay range : $20.00 - $21.00/hour (first year interns $20.00/hour, returning interns $21.00/hour)
Employment Status: Temporary (May - August full-time, 40 hours per week)
Potential (September - December part-time, 20 hours per week)

About this position:
The Technical Training Intern is tasked with develop intuitive, engaging, and consistent computer-based (CBT) technical training courses. This position is part of a newly created department responsible for the development of training content and documentation of said training. The intern will be the conduit through which NWE employees receive and apply Technical Skills and Knowledge to be applied to their everyday work. Will be exposed to many aspects of utility work, NorthWestern Energy as a Company, and its employees.
About this job:
Develop a variety of training courses for various departments in a modern utility environment
Format training content and documentation
Identify and apply imagery and audio appropriate for the training content
Assist in the review and implementation of course feedback
Will assist in creating a Training Content Library
Review, categorize, and organize existing training documentation
Catalog images for use in future training courses
Participate in organizational work meetings

Must possess strong interpersonal communication skills
Degree work in Professional Communications or a similar field and/or Engineer with an interest in training development
Student must have completed Freshman level or higher by start date
Must be in good academic standing
